Experience and Background
Tom began a career in hospitality technology as a fresh-faced teenager, making swivel stands for CRT televisions. He was soon involved in the installation of hotel TVs and continued this role on a part-time basis during his BA (Hons) in Business & Management Science.
Brimming with business savvy, Tom joined Airwave competitor Quadriga, completing site surveys, managing installations and looking after large scale hotel chain projects. He continued in a similar vein at Acentic, again project managing chains such as Marriott and Hilton.
Tom joined Airwave in 2018 and has now worked for many/most of the UK’s large system integrators.
Something Interesting?
Tom has spent much of his life in hotel rooms, such is his expertise in the workings of a hotel room, he was once tasked to help a disgruntled Mick Jagger escape from his own “locked” hotel room.
A keen golfer, Tom’s game improved after a session on his wrist position. On a similar note, he has a significant distaste for goats cheese.
